For more than 40 years, Darian has been the accountable sourcing partner trusted by global brands for high-quality manufactured components. We coordinate every stage of the supply process—partner selection, design support, compliance, logistics, and delivery—giving you reliable supply without the complexity of managing multiple vendors.

With a rigorously vetted network of laser-cutting and fabrication partners across the UK, Europe, and Asia, Darian strengthens your supply chain while reducing risk and operational burden.

Through our specialist partners, we offer laser cutting and fabrication services that deliver exceptional precision, versatility, and efficiency.

These technologies allow for consistent, high-quality production across a wide range of materials and component sizes, making them ideal for applications where accuracy and repeatability are critical.

Laser cutting and fabrication services offer exceptional precision, versatility, and efficiency, making them an essential solution for industries that demand accuracy, consistency, and high-quality production across a wide range of materials and component sizes.

Some of the key ways our laser cutting and fabrication capabilities can enhance your products include:

  • Precision Cutting Across Materials:
With advanced robotic laser systems, we deliver clean, accurate cuts in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, and brass. Our capabilities span sheet metal cutting up to 25 mm thick and laser tube cutting for complex profiles with outstanding repeatability.
  • Versatile Tube & Profile Cutting:
Our 2D laser tube cutting technology offers significant cost savings over traditional tube processing. With capacity up to 6 metres in length and the ability to cut profiles up to 120 mm square or 160 mm round, we ensure quality and efficiency even in intricate designs.
  • Heavy-Duty Cutting Options:
For thicker materials, we offer plasma cutting up to 35 mm on four dual-torch machines, and oxy-fuel cutting up to 250 mm on large-format 12 x 3 metre tables—ideal for heavy fabrication projects requiring robustness and reliability.
  • Comprehensive Forming Capabilities:
From press forming single pieces up to 16 metres long to bending components with diameters up to 5 metres and thicknesses of 60 mm, our forming services cater to both large-scale structures and detailed fabricated parts.
  • High-Quality Welding Solutions:
With manual, robotic, and submerged arc welding (MIG/MAG/TIG/SAW), we provide strong, consistent welds for components and assemblies, ensuring structural integrity and long-term performance.
  • Scalable Production Volumes:
We support low, medium, and high-volume requirements, offering flexibility whether you need prototype quantities or full-scale batch production. Lead times typically range from 4–6 weeks, with options for faster delivery via rolling schedules.
  • Cost-Efficient Manufacturing:
Our advanced technologies reduce processing time, minimise material waste, and streamline production—delivering cost savings without compromising quality or precision.
  • Large-Format Capability for Ambitious Projects:
From oversized structural components to complex fabricated assemblies, our extensive cutting, forming, and welding infrastructure supports ambitious designs and demanding applications across multiple industries.

Your questions answered:

What materials can you laser cut?

Darian, through our UK and global partners, can laser cut a wide range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, and brass. Material grades and finishes can be matched to your exact requirements.

Cutting capacity varies by material and partner capability, but typically we can cut steel up to 35 mm, stainless steel up to 25 mm, galvanised steel up to 8mm and aluminium up to 12 mm.

For thicker or specialised materials, Darian can source appropriate partners to meet your requirements.

Standard lead times for laser-cut components are typically 3–10 working days plus logistics, depending on material availability, part complexity, and production volume. Larger fabrication projects may require longer, but Darian will always advise the fastest achievable delivery time.

To prepare an accurate quotation, we require a drawing or CAD file (DXF, DWG, STEP, or similar), the material specification, and an indication of volumes. If a sample part is available, this can help accelerate evaluation.

All enquiries are handled with strict confidentiality and supported by a signed NDA where required.

No. Darian can support single-piece prototypes through to full-scale production volumes. MOQ requirements vary depending on the process, but we work with you to provide the most cost-effective solution for both low and high-volume requirements.
